August 12, 1985 – a disaster of Boeing 747 Airlines Japan Airlines, 520 dead. Flight JAL 123 on the route Tokyo-Osaka broke off 44 minutes after take-off. After 12 minutes after takeoff the aircraft lost its vertical tail stabilizer. The crew managed to keep the uncontrolled airliner in the air for 32 minutes, after which the car crashed into the mountain of Otsutaka. To Tokyo, there were 112 km… As a result of the crash, only 4 people survived.
