November 12, 1996 – a collision of the Boeing 747-168B and Il-76TD, 349 dead. It would seem that it is almost impossible to collide in the air. Nevertheless it happened. Two airliners – Boeing 747-168B of Saudi Arabian Airlines (SVA763 Delhi-Jeddah flight) and Kazakhstan Airlines’ Il-76TD (KZA1907 flight from Shymkent-Delhi) crashed into each other at an altitude of 4109 meters near the Indian city of Charkhi Dadri. A fatal collision took the lives of all those who were in these planes.
