Maxim Zorregueta became Queen of the Netherlands.
Maxim met the Dutch Willem-Alexander in Spain at the Spring Fair, held in Seville. She did not know that her choice was a prince and thought he was joking when he told her the truth. The wedding took place on February 2, 2002.
The couple is raising three daughters. Willem-Alexander ascended the throne 30 April 2013 and Maxim became a queen.
